About us

by AlanRowoth on September 26, 2014

The Big Orange Tarp began as a campground music space in the mold of the music camps at the Kerrville Music Festival. The idea was to spread that germ to a variety of music festivals and other situations. Over the years the Big Orange Tarp has hosted dozens of nights of music at the Planet Bluegrass Song School, Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Napa Valley Folk Festival and other places. The Big Orange Tarp also hosts songwriter showcases at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference and other events.
